Keepsakes and Mementos
We Recieved For Olivia

Her tiny bracelet that I now wear on a chain around my neck

Her handprints and footprints made with the nurses help

The beautiful afghan was

handmade by a dear friend.

The angel was also a gift.

On the back of this pendant it reads “Heaven’s Gift”

My sister and her children had this made for Olivia

This is the picture from my sister-in-law that reads “My child, when you have seen only one set of footprints, it is then that I carried you”

My daughter’s close friend made the name frame and she also had the shirt to the left made.

My sister-in-law made the pink rose spray in the background.

One of my most cherished gifts, from my best friend.

I still sleep with this blanket at night.

Miss Olivia…Imagine being presented with one of God’s special angels to take care of, if only for a little while. Even having to give her back…not everyone  is that special. He doesn’t give His special angels to just anyone…so love her, hold her and kiss her and then when you have to send her back, know you have been specially chosen for this task.

My sister sent this to me in

an e-mail before she was born.

My “Olivia Wall” in our living room

This one holds the blanket from our nurse, one of her hats and her tiny pacifier along with more roses.

Shadow boxes I created using the roses from the funeral, a burp cloth made by a friend, the program from the service, one of the bears that held down all the many bundles of balloons, and the pink bible my mom gave her.

The day we planted the magnolia tree in her memory.

Olivia’s Tree

Several days later we planted the mums from Olivia’s celebration service.

Ethan loves to show off “Wee-a’s” Tree.
